Quantum Software, a successful Irish Payroll company providing payroll solutions is growing and looking for a Software Quality Assurance Executive.
The Role requires a strong software testing background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a detailed driven person. If successful, the applicant will be working to implement solutions for the Irish and International Payroll Market.
The applicant will work closely with the development team to ensure full knowledge of the proposed software design and that testing covers all aspects of intended functionality.
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of testing from test design to test execution
- Tracking, reporting and resolution of system errors
- Communicating with development, support, and training teams to resolve issues raised by clients or questions relating to software version releases
- Re-testing defects fixes and regression testing.
- Ensure clients receive working software that supports their business requirements
- Lead efforts to enhance and make testing process more efficient
- Attend PSDA (Payroll Software Development Association) meeting and any other Revenue related meeting.
Experience
- An understanding of software engineering concepts, testing and methodologies.
- 2 years’ software testing experience preferably in a financial, payroll or HR environment.
- Experience of testing applications for Desktop, Hosted and Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Irish Taxation and social welfare parameters would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps platform would be an advantage
- Be goal orientated and have and have a strong delivery focus.
- The ability to work on more than one project at a time
- Strong documentation and analysis skills
